“Oh, to be a kid again!”
When I was a child, you could often find me outside playing in mud puddles, making “leaf soup,” or making up my own songs and dances with friends. Things were simpler back then and it didn’t take much to entertain us. Seeing something different for the first time, learning new things, and exploring my world was all very exciting.
Now that I’m a mother, I get to experience these things with my kids – and that’s even more exciting! Nothing beats learning alongside my children and seeing their faces when they make new discoveries. I’m so thankful that I get to be a part of it with them.
What you will find at To be a Kid Again…
Here you will find a wide range of activities for early-childhood. Most activities we do are geared towards toddlers, preschoolers, and k-3, but many can be adapted for any age. I like to include activities that help children explore their creative side, as well as learning activities that don’t feel so “academic.” I strongly believe in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education starting at a young age… but the important thing is to make it FUN! There are so many great science activities that little ones can get involved with. We love to get outside and explore nature, so I enjoy sharing activities that inspire you to get outside and explore with your kids. We also enjoy book extension activities, so you’ll also find a lot of crafts and activities to go along with our favorite children’s books. Everything here is supposed to be fun and encourage a love of learning.
Get in on the fun!
